DK

Physiotherapist

DK’s healthcare journey began at Western University with a dual major in Physiology and Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences, providing a rigorous foundation in the human body’s inner workings. He earned his Master’s in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University, where he developed a philosophy anchored in pathophysiology: treating the root cause rather than just the symptoms. By merging evidence-based movement patterns with a heavy emphasis on hands-on techniques, DK creates tailored programs designed to bridge the gap between injury and the activities his patients love most.

A dedicated educator and lifelong student, DK serves as a Clinical Instructor with the Queen’s University Rehabilitation program. His commitment to mentorship and leadership was recognized with the 2023-2024 Queen’s University Clinical Education Award. This passion for teaching extends directly to his patients, as he believes education is the most powerful tool for sustainable recovery. Whether implementing Functional Dry Needling, Acupuncture, or Vestibular and Concussion therapy, DK constantly evolves his skill set to provide the most sophisticated care possible.

Outside of professional practice, DK is driven by a deep interest in discipline and self-growth. An avid fitness enthusiast, he has a particular passion for weightlifting and strength training—hobbies that inform his clinical understanding of physical resilience. When he isn’t under a barbell, he is often immersed in personal finance and investments, applying the same analytical mindset to the markets as he does to his patients. Caring deeply for people and their progress, DK brings an energetic, disciplined, and sincere approach to helping every patient optimize their function and invest in their long-term health.
